One-day corporate events
on sailing yachts
Our club is the largest yacht club in Cyprus based in the Mediterranean.
For 4 years in a row, from 2018 to 2021, the Cyprus Olympic Committee has recognized CISC as the best yacht club on the island. And this is despite it being quite young — the club was founded in 2017.
Teamwork and incredible emotions, an unusual corporate event with the elements of team building and outdoor activities—this is a regatta!
A corporate regatta is a friendly competition on sailing yachts, which is held according to all the rules of sailing. The boats start at the same time, the goal is to cover the distance as quickly as possible and finish before the rivals.
Races are held in a comfortable and safe environment under the guidance of an experienced skipper, and are suitable for people with different physical fitness.
Before the regatta, we conduct a briefing, where we explain the basic things about the structure of the vessel, the management of a sailing yacht and safety on board. The skipper distributes roles between the participants and suggests what needs to be done and at what moment.
Fareast 28R is a modern racing yacht that can reach speeds of more than 20 knots on full courses. It is not afraid of strong winds and it starts gliding from 14 knots.
For amateur competitions, the yacht accommodates up to 6 participants + a skipper. For a sports regatta, the recommended number of participants is 5.
It doesn't matter if you have sailing experience, the main thing is to work with your teammates, listen to the skipper and, of course, enjoy the process!
Races are held in the Limassol Marina. There is always wind here, there are practically no calm days, and even these days there is wind from 12 :00 to 15:00. In winter, westerly winds from 7 to 20 knots prevail here.
Also in winter there are east winds and waves. With western winds, the sea is always quite calm in terms of waves. There are east winds about 25% of the time.
The swimming season lasts from June to October, when there are practically no high waves. The beach season in Cyprus lasts about 8 months, and winds and rains come from December to February, but this is not a problem for experienced sea wolves.
Besides, there are no tides along the Cyprus coastline, so travelers do not need to be afraid of a sudden change in the mood of the sea.
